Different Site, Different Plot, Same Characters

Hey, so y'all have probably noticed my lack of updates recently. Well it's because I have been focusing all of my time on:

A: Work.
B: The RPG I'm making for the Fear Mythos.
C: this.

Yeah, that's right, I've moved on and decided to quit updating these blogs altogether. Instead, you get to see a more concise and better written version of the overall story of the Shadows Verse. Any crossovers that I've done will still appear in some form, and the plot will remain more or less the same with some major improvements. Plus, there's plenty of backstory for everything. The Deicide isn't just formed one day, there's a ton of buildup and plot involved in their formation this time around. Same with the Alliance.

On that note, remember when I called them the Collective? An honest mistake, seeing as I hadn't seen Tribe Twelve at that point. The point is I got almost a thousand views from people who likely thought this was a blog made by Adam (TT's creator). Sorry about that, if any of you are still reading.

"But Phobos, the Anthology of Shadows is on Tumblr, which I don't have an account on! How could I possibly keep myself updated on your story?"

Glad you asked! On the left side your Blogger dashboard, right under the drop-down menu for your reading list, is a button that says "Add". This doesn't let you just follow blogs here on blogger though, it can subscribe to anything with an RSS feed (MSPA, Tumblr, Twitter, etc). All you have to do is paste the URL of the site and click follow.

That being said, I'll still stick around to read all of your blogs and sometimes even comment. There's a hell of a lot of potential in all of these stories, which seem to have gotten out of the cliches and more into original concepts.

I'm talkin' about you, "Out of the Forest." If I'm sticking around for any blogs, it's gonna be that one.

But anyway, I feel my time posting here has come to an end. If you're still interested in reading about these guys, head on over to the site linked above. Hell, if any of you want to have your "Not outright stated to be fiction" blogs crossover with a story that is clearly fiction, I'll see if I can work character interactions into the plot.

But for now, I bid you all adieu.

Recruitment

I think it's been long enough. Every man needs to know when it's time to return to his duty, and my time is now. Grandfather has tasked me with leading the recruitment campaign for the Deicide, as many of their men were killed in an attempt to subdue the Rake before meeting with him.

Gotta say though, people aren't exactly lining up to fight monsters. I had to take a note from... Let's just call them a rival organization and leave it at that.

"Alright, Mr..."
"Crackhead."
"Named after why you're in here?"
"Nah, the others gave me the name after I stomped in my cell mate's face."
"Violent tendencies, good. That's what Eli's looking for apparently."
"That mean I'm in?"
"It means you'll be considered."

Using the Catacombs, I've been going from city to city giving the most violent and aggressive criminals the chance at an early prison release. Hell, even after I tell them they'll be fighting monsters they don't seem fazed. These men are so desperate to see life outside a cell. It's really rather entertaining.

So far, we've managed to gather recruits from Norway and Denmark, and will slowly be making our way through the rest of Europe gathering names and profiles of prisoners with either a life sentence or a death sentence. After all, who else would be desperate enough to join us? That, and the fact that they'd likely be more loyal to men who gave them their freedom and/or lives. We (as in the rest of the Archive, who have been tasked with the same objective to cover more ground) expect to be done recruiting by late April or mid May, by which time we will have covered enough ground to reach the Deicide's main facility in Bangkok. At this point, Elijah will assess each profile himself and choose the convicts who get to join the Deicide. The ones who aren't so lucky... Well at least they'll never be able to come after us.

Elijah and Nathan are back at the base making a million calls a day trying to find "Phobos". Yeah, that's right.  Jack's dad is looking for Jack's brother Zeke, and he doesn't even know it. Funny enough, Jack probably would've tried to kill Elijah after learning that if I hadn't already done him in.

I still feel there might've been a better way, but what's done is done. You can't grieve forever.

Anyways, we're starting with Europe since the leaders of these countries are probably gonna accept our requests seeing as we're a part of STAB. Can't exactly have their only source of information on how to deal with incidents regarding the Fears stop supplying them, now can they? STAB HQ hasn't exactly learned of what we're doing and wouldn't approve if they did, so we're saving Canada and America for last so we don't draw too much attention before we're able to... Take care of the rest of STAB, should the need arise.

And that's your update on the life of Gamma, folks! Tune in next week, when I attempt to strangle the quiet!

Gamma Protocol

Good god, I'm so sorry everyone. I...

We...

Okay. Before today, there were a fair few more posts cluttering this place up. This was the home blog of "The Alliance", a group of Fear servants trying to forge a massive alliance between the Fears, acting as a sort of "United Nations" for the Fears. I was a part of this group, representing the Blind Man, before he withdrew me in favor of a different alliance. An alliance he joined for no reason other than revenge.

Gods, sometimes it sucks serving the most "human" Fear.

Who exactly did he join, you may ask? A group fueled by the desire to "Create a world free of Fear". A group that call themselves "The Deicide". Their leader Elijah Shepard has completely integrated the Archive into his organization, an act that benefits both Grandfather and the Deicide (Grandfather gets his revenge, and the Deicide get access to all of the Archive's information... Essentially making them the most dangerous military force on Earth). In addition the Supernatural Threat Analysis Bureau, the Deicide's parent organization have revoked the Blind Man's "Fear classification", an act which serves no purpose other than to put the minds of the Deicide's soldiers at ease.

...

You can find all here, on the Deicide's main blog. I've personally been given control of this blog due to the fact that no one else from the Alliance is alive to post here. Why you may ask?

I killed them. God forgive me I killed them all, sneaking in during the night and poisoning them while they slept. My best friend, Jack the Ripper... He was the one that above all I couldn't let live. I shot him in the heart and dumped him into a garbage chute.

Can't let Elijah see that body. Above all, cannot let Elijah see Jack. He made the order, he gave me the poison... He can't see Jack.

I...

I just killed everyone I ever cared about.

Give me time to mourn.

Meet the Alliance

I suppose we should introduce ourselves before we continue. I'll post the dossiers is descending order of who first joined the Alliance.

Kane "Daedalus" Santiago
Race: Hispanic
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Serves: The Convocation (Nest)
Physical description: 6'8 Olive complexion, blue eyes, black hair in a military style cut, full beard, scar from left eyebrow down to chin from releasing Convocation. Wears a black t-shirt and forest green cargo pants, with military boots.
Bio: Kane was born and raised in Mexico City. Orphaned at the age of fifteen, he was approached by a Nest who offered him a position serving the Convocation. Several years later, he met the Slenderman, who was attempting to abduct a toddler. Engaging the Slenderman in combat, the two eventually came to a stalemate. Kane convinced the Slenderman to give the child a job as a Proxy when he grew older. The child and Kane kept in contact as the years went on, forming a brotherly bond with one another. On occasion, the two met on opposing sides of a battle between the Convocation and the Slenderman. Worrying that one day, one of them may not make it out of such a conflict, Kane created the United Fear initiative. His first alliance was with the Slenderman, who contributed the Proxy mentioned earlier to the Alliance. That proxy is...

Jack "The Ripper" Shepard
Race: Caucasian
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Serves: The Slenderman (Agent)
Description: 6'5, appearance unknown to everyone save for Kane and Jack's family. Wears a "Guy Fawkes" mask taken from the home of a Proxy who betrayed the Slenderman, a black zip up hoodie with the hood up to completely cover his face and head, blue jeans, fingerless black gloves and white running shoes.
Bio: Jack hasn't really divulged much information about himself. What we do know is that he was the child that Kane saved. He went on to do trivial tasks for the Slenderman such as deliveries and recon missions. As he entered his teen years, he was assigned assassinations and intimidation missions. Unlike some proxies, Jack considers what he does nothing more than a career. Very protective over his little brother Zeke, a Timberwolf. Feels he is personally responsible for the events leading up to his brother's joining the Archangel.

Collector Gamma
Race: Caucasian
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Serves: The Blind Man (Collector for the Archive)
Description: 5'7, very light complexion, short curly brown hair, brown eyes, no facial hair. Wears a black business suit with a red tie, suede shoes and a gold crucifix around his neck.
Bio: Listen, my Master took my childhood memories when I became an Archivist.  The most I can really tell you is that I was training to become a priest before I was chosen to become a collector, and I've been working for Grandfather for the last 12 years. I volunteered to become a member of the Alliance for a change of pace from the regular job of collecting data and recruits for the Archive.

So now he chooses to work for me, recruiting for the Alliance. -Daedalus

...Anyways, Grandfather is pleased by the notion of peace among the Fears, so I gave this operation my full support. Now, onto our most recent recruit.

Jennifer "Sedna" Widowak
Race: Metis
Gender: Female
Age: 12
Serves: EAT (Sentient Camper)
Description: 5'7, lightly tanned complexion, green eyes (bright blue when EAT takes over the body), black hair. Wears a white t-shirt and knee length denim skirt with sneakers.
Bio: Hailing from British Columbia, Jen became a Camper at the age of six. Her family had decided to go camping for a weekend back in 2006. One minute, she was wading through knee deep water, the next... Gone without a trace. Police suspected that an Alligator may have been present in the water, but found no evidence to support that theory. The parents were then put on trial for murder, but were aquitted due to lack of evidence. They both committed suicide the day after the trial. Jen was chosen by EAT to be Her representative due to her curiosity about the other Fears.

And there you have it: Everything you need to know about the current members of the Alliance. Dossiers for new recruits will be posted the day they join us.

An Introduction is in Order

"We might as well just outright state it."

"Why? Don't we want to ease them into this type of thing?"

"Who, the runners? It's not our job to make them feel comfortable. The people we're looking for will already know what they are anyways."

"Fine. But if nothing beneficial comes out of this, it's on your head, Jack."

That is the conversation that led up to the creation of this blog. And just like Jack wanted, I'm going to come right out and say it: The beings that you people refer to as Fears, PREs, Fossils? They're our bosses.

Well, not all of them. Not yet. As of right now, there are only four of them who have agreed to this plan. Let me explain: One member of the Alliance is a Proxy, and another is a Nest. These two fellows share an intense brotherly bond due to the Nest saving the Proxy's life at a young age. During the times when the Convocation and Slenderman opposed each other however, those two had to go into battle against each other. This troubled the Nest, causing him to come up with the"United Fear Initiative".

The United Fear initiative has every Fear contribute one of their servants into our ranks, so we can find more peaceful solutions to our Boss' conflicts. This not only prevents unnecessary bloodshed, but also allows us to lay the foundation for what may eventually become a major alliance between all or many of the Fears. Such an alliance would allow us to easily dispatch anyone or anything that opposed or threatened them, and also give each of the Fears a significantly larger resource pool to utilise than they could possibly have alone.

Sadly, as I stated earlier, the only Fears who have agreed so far are the ones who the Four of us serve. Granted, they're also the only Fears who know about this. Regardless, we're hoping that the rest will come around to the concept when we present it. And if they believe they'll be more successful without our alliance... We'll prove them wrong, one way or another.
